Laura & Jack
May 2025, marquee at home.
Bohemian and bountiful. Wild flowers, floral linens, horse and carriage, projection mapping. Was there ever a better combination of tradition & and fun. By the sheer volume of grins in the gallery, leads us to think Laura & Jack got it spot on for their May wedding at home in County Durham. Our first destination wedding too. Having catered for friends of the couple back in 2017, we couldn’t resist the temptation to travel up north to cater for this wonderful pair. Their food brief was fun, floral, refined yet relaxed. Canapes, and cocktails by Vintage Event Bars. And a three course plated menu to sit amongst the candles & beautifully botanic marquee.

Akunne & Karl.
October 2024, Boconnoc House.
Akunne & Karl’s golden Autumn wedding was brimming with colour & light. Their menu was a hybrid of bespoke and simply shared. Because there’s always scope for flexibility when it comes to final menu design. Five different canapes for the reception, which were served with sparkling wine and Grapefruit Spritz. Then there were two starter options- Cornish Mackerel, or crispy Feta with orange blossom honey, za’atar & tahini rich hummus. The Autumnal main was a plated dish using venison from Boconnoc Estate. And a mushroom & chestnut wellington for non meat eaters. A simple sharing platter of desserts to finish off the meal.
